UPDATE Christmas and New Year activities here at The Chateau

Thank you to everyone who has enquired about our Christmas and New Year activities here at The Chateau.

The current restrictions in both countries make things difficult to confirm, but we still have every intention to proceed with the celebrations.

Ryanair have unfortunately cancelled many routes to France until next Spring, but you can still travel via the tunnel or ferry and we intend to make both events very special.

Also remember we can Social Distance families when dining, so if you're worried about not being with family this Christmas, why not give us a call or drop us a line as what better way to celebrate than with your loved ones here at Chateau La Briance.

We have picked up a few bookings from Brits now living in France or happy to quarantine on return to the UK after the Festivities, but let's hope we find things a little easier at that time.

We continue work on the Orangerie and look to complete the decking this week. It's a lovely addition to this beautiful building allowing the party to flow into the grounds.

It's been quiet here, with just a few guests stopping en route North or South. We can't wait to welcome back our British followers whenever that may be possible. It's so frustrating knowing the Chateau itself is ready to welcome you all but everything is on hold.

Helen and I feel lost rattling around this grand old place by ourselves. It's been a strange week with temperatures rising to 22 degrees with sunny spells yesterday, followed by such strong winds. I'm missing summer already.
